Vittoria
12th of July : Again the upload is a couple of nights late (Nearly, but not quite for the young lions). We completed the fourth and final of the Vittoria scenario. It had looked odds on for the British, but somehow the French clung on and the British failed to take any of the objectives for victory. So although the British dominated a lot of the field it was declared a tactical French victory.
5th of July : A night later than usual (Come on England !) Night 3 of the Vittoria scenario, the allies are pressing in on the French who are not having a good time.
27th of June
Night 2 of the Vittoria scenario, 3 game turns in and it's starting to get tasty
20th of June
We started Vittoria (The battle on the Hill of Arinez). This saw scrolling landscape featuring 2 hills and the village of Arinez all flanked by a flowing river.
The British had Picton commanding the 3rd storming on across the river crossing's while Wellington himself try's to pin the French defenders. A great start to the game, 4 turns completed and it's looking very interesting.

WW2 - A little skirmish Game
13th of June
We finished the little WW2 skirmish off ; A fine victory for the allies, reducing the German force to a single section of 4 men. The highlights being the American engineer section and their flame thrower which roasted two German sections and the one glimmer of hope for the Germans being the performance of forward observer private Blenkisop who managed to bring down fire onto the British commander, right hand section and mortar team rendering them extinct ! (He had been awarded the iron cross first class, and still denies that his father is called Herman).
Just a few photos, including Blenkisop himself.
6th of June
A double update this week : Last week saw just 2 of the Cobs available (Myself and Howard) so we threw a little Saga bash together, and a jolly fine affair it was.
This week saw 3 of us getting together to play a small WW2 encounter, a small German force defending a village.

AWI : Outflanked !
23rd of May
Night 3 of the AWI game brought the encounter to a close - A narrow Allied victory but at heavy cost in men, with the American right being unable to stop the British breakthrough.
16th of May
Night 2 of the current AWI game, another great night : 4 turns completed and it's starting to look a bit grim for the american's
9th of May
New game underway : An AWI
We havn't had chance to get these chaps on the park for a good couple of years, and with Howard now building a nice Allied force it seemed like a good idea. The game is planned for 3 weeks

Battle of Kulm
25th of April 2018
The final night of Kulm, night 4. A great end to the battle, night came to save the French ??
18th of April
Night 3 of the Kulm game, all still to play for as we approach the final evening of the battle.
CONGRATS to Mick, and MR Smith on their great 'best in show' demo game at Salute.
11th of April
Night 2 of our current battle of Kulm, played with great gusto and is finally balanced as both sides catch their wind ready for the second phase of the battle.
4th of April
We started the 1st day of Kulm ; This pitted a strong French force attacking what they anticipated was a small Russian rear-guard. This wasn't the case, the Russians with the Guard present were well organised and have greeted the garlic munches with a warm reception.
Set up and the first four turns of expected 16 Turn game - See gallery for shots

January 2018 Game : WW2 'battle for the Factories
We played this one over 3 Tuesday evenings, it saw 2 large American forces attacking a built up area with 2 Factory units. We planned it for 8 turns and the objective being for the Germans to take both units.
A game of great twist's and turns but ultimately the americans got the upper hand and won, but onier left they took some fearfull casualties and across the whole table armour wasn't safe at all.
