WSS - Random Generated Game January 2018
WSS : Night 3
Well turn 10 went well for the allies, despite picking up more casualties it saw a large number of French units go into rout. The withdrawal check was a non event due to the routing French units and only 1 dice to role, easy to get under 12 !
Then arrived turn 11, the French got a great command role and came on hard inflicting more casualties and racking up the moral checks. The French rallied units left, right an centre but despite 4 6's on the bounce the allies ended up with 5 routing units.
The withdrawal check was 9 dice, did we role under 12 - What do you think ? (Not bitter at all !)
So it all ended on turn 11, a solid French victory but hard fought. A great game played in the true spirit.
WSS : Night 2
Well we got another 5 turns in, and it's going down hill for the allies. A number of units abandoned the field of battle which pushed the casualties up fast and they sit 1 away from a withdrawal check. The French seem to be leading a charmed life on the moral roles just add salt into the wounds.
3 Turns to play, can the allies pass 3 withdrawal checks to gain a tactical victory ... All to play for next week
WSS : Night 1
5 players, 3 French attacking 2 Allied. We randomly generated forces with the French getting fairly balanced forces but the Allies got a very heavy cavalry force overall which will be interesting as they are defending. We are experimenting with the withdrawal system ahead of the campaign later in the year.
We got the forces set up, and 4 turns in.
