A small 2 night game - An outnumbered German force (2 commands of 750pts) tries to maintain control of a vital supply road against 2 Allied airborne (1,000 pts each) forces.
Night 1 - 11/09/18 : The Germans seem to be just getting the upper hand in the first 3 turns with casualties slightly higher for the allies. They have advanced and next week will see if they can dislodge the Germans.
Night 2 - 18/09/18 : The game came to end with the Germans, although battered, still in control of the key points of the table.

(Game 2 - Aug 2018) WW2 : Skirmish for the Warehouse
15th of August Night 2 : A fine victory for the Americans, the americans occupied the Warehouse and outlying terrain and the British pinned everything else back. On the left the German force was taking heavy losses and when the Panzer III went up in smoke that was the end of that threat. On the left and in the centre the Americans had the German force well pinned down with some heavy MMG fire.
7th of August Night 1 : We continued our theme of small WW2 encounters, this time for control of a small Warehouse complex (2 be played over 2 weeks).
2 German forces versus 1 American & 1 British, all set to 1,250 points. Entry onto the table was random for each player. The allies got to set up first and then the Germans reacted. All seemed to be going fine for the Germans as they king Tiger started popping of the British armour, but rather than signalling the start of good things for the Germans the allies have made the most progress. The Americans have already occupied the complex and are stalling the Germans as they build up their grip on it.
Next week will see the game finished, ahead of our yearly demo game at Partisan (Pop over to see us if you are there).

(Game 1 Aug 2018) WW2 : Crossroads in the Country
31st of July Night 2: The first of the small games ended with the Germans firmly taking the crossroads, the allies despite a late rally of mortar fire had to withdraw.
24th of July Night 1 :A small 2 week game, 2 German forces and 2 Allied forces both of a 1,00pts arriving from random direction clash to take control of a vital crossroads.
A great start for the Germans, Phil's Stug doing quite a bit of damage thus pinning up Micks British paras allowing both German forces to concentrate fire on the American force.
However the Para's hit back with some deadly mortar fire and the Americans seem to be getting themselves organised.
